Schoolhouse Rock … eat your heart out!
Schoolhouse Rock … eat your heart out!
Australian politics according to the Taiwanese media.
So I FINALLY got to see Blue King Brown perform live again after 2 years last night at The Gov, it was nothing short of amazing. Most definitely in my top 5 favourite live bands.
There’s the old saying that politics and music shouldn’t be combined, I would beg to differ. There is so much power behind music, why wouldn’t you use it to stand up against injustices!? All the bands merch, although pricey is completely ethical too!

Cost of one Tomahawk cruise missile: Approximately $756,000-$2,000,000 per missile
Congress appropriated $6,734,000,000 for WIC in fiscal year 2011.
Let’s compare these numbers for perspective:
When Operation Iraqi Freedom began, more than 725 Tomahawk cruise missiles had been fired into Iraq by early 2003. That’s an approximate cost of $548,100,000 to $1,450,000,000 - nearly 20% of WIC’s 2011 budget in a matter of weeks.
War is expensive, but for some reason, it’s easier to to write those costs off than the costs of helping families in need. War is also profitable, whereas assisting the impoverished, well, not so much.
Apparently they’re going to keep this war going until they get the profit they somehow feel entitled to, despite promises of ending it and focusing on the important thing: The people!
Check out how much money your country is spending on the Military vs Education and Healthcare …. shame on you USA!

Food for thought.
People should be more concerned about the eradication of human trafficking, poverty, war, etc than frowning on the love one has for another.
Stop finger pointing, cos there’s always three pointing back at you.
#end of rant that I hope kinda made sense.
A great segment on Sunrise this morning about immigration in Australia with the legend that is Brad Chilcott from Welcome to Australia. Looking very schmick too!
